Alfred Esteller Agustí is involved in academia and develops a professional practice. Growing in both aspects at the same time is important to him in order to achieve a complete development. In academic field his interests have always been related with sustainability, attending the impacts of architectural processes and social implications of designing decisions in different scales. From construction materials choice and their use optimization to urban scale planning, he has developed and put forward sustainable tools and methodologies which have been used in his urban and architectural practice. In addition, he is co-founder of the Laboratorio de Innovación Urbana in Guadalajara, Mexico, through which several social and political arrangements, events and training was carried from 2017 to 2020. In 2013 he founded her own architecture office with Isamar Herrera, Aion Plan. Which was born to attend architectural, landscape and urban projects focusing on human wellbeing and health, as well as proposing solutions to reduce environmental impacts related to their processes. Alfred Esteller Agustí graduated from the Universidad Politécnica de València (Spain) in 2009. Before joining UCH-CEU in 2021, he has been teaching since 2014 in the Universidad ITESO (Mexico), Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (Mexico), Universidad ESARQ (Mexico), Instituto Tecnológico de la Construcción (Mexico) and Universidad del Valle de México (Mexico). As well as profesional courses in Colegio de Arquitectos de la Comunidad Valenciana (Spain), Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles del Estado de Jalisco (Mexico) and the Cámara Mexicana de la Industria de la Construcción (Mexico).
