Head of research of the consolidated group of clinical and molecular oncology of the Hospital Arnau de Vilanova.
Our current lines of research are focused on breast cancer and the immune response, the link with the intestinal microbiome and the efficacy of different therapies. With the ultimate goal of providing a personalized therapy to the patient and a better quality of life.

About me
More than twenty years of research experience in molecular and translational medicine, with a proven publication track record . Extensive experience in microbiome and functional genomics, real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR), molecular biology, enzymology, probiotics and cell culture.

Keen interest in preclinical (animals and cellular models) and traslational research with bioactive compounds, development of novel assays/kits (antibody, DNA-based, probiotic or postbiotic), personalized medicines and new biomarkers mainly in breast cancer disease.

Strong education professional with a PhD focused on bacterial microbiology and physiology. Proven track record of working in higher education.

Willing to build up experience in providing scientific expertise in supporting technology transfer.

Associate lecturer in Biology and Biochemistry for the Physiotherapy, Nursing and Dentistry degrees at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University from September 2019.
Tutor of final projects for the degree in nursing.
Tutor for the Master's Degree in Clinical Trials at CEU.
