It was after obtaining my Grant to collaborate in University Departments in 2007 at the Pharmacology Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Valencia, that I began undergraduate research in the laboratory. Within this year I started introductory research about the effect of natural products on protein carbonylation, which was continued the following year and gave title to my dissertation within the Master’s Degree in Research and Rational Use of Medicines. From my efforts to continue my career and having obtained my Category C title, authorizing me to direct and/or design animal experiments, I was accepted as predoctoral researcher on a research project about synthesis and target identification of bioactive natural products in the treatment of inflammatory diseases, which was carried out at the Pharmacology Department. As a result of my graduate research work, I served as lead author on a number of publications as well as being given the opportunity to present my research findings in the form of poster presentations and oral communications in various National and International Congresses about Pharmacology. Since 2015 I have been working as University Professor at University CEU-UCH where I teach theoretical and practical lessons of Pharmacology for BsC students in the Medicine, Veterinary, Pharmacy and Dentistry Degree programmes.
